Main duties of the job
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Provide outstanding quality based patient centred care to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
- Focussing on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, ensuring patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.
- Deliver non-judgemental care within the scope of professional standards. Involving anything from the timely administration of medicines through to analysing cost effective prescribing as defined through our unique health in justice medicines policy.
- You will make a real difference by working as a key member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

- NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council

Job summary
We are recruiting for a Advanced Digital Systems and Storage Engineer who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The Post-holder will ensure that the Trust's IT systems provide a continuous service to all departments within the Trust and associated stakeholder business.
They will be a key technical resource available within IT and as such will have technical excellence in one or more key areas, and be able to provide specialist advice and expertise.
This role requires a high level of technical competence, excellent analytical skills, an ability to convey complex technical ideas to other Trust staff and management, an ability to organise complex plans and execute them and an ability to work unsupervised without reference to a manager.
This role will have a Digital On Call Rota.

Main duties of the job
The Advanced Digital Systems and Storage Engineer will work with the IT Server and Storage Lead to ensure an effective, efficient and respected systems support service is maintained to the Trust by adhering to agreed policies, standards and procedures.
Assist with the development and maintenance of disaster recovery arrangements and contingency planning, including testing of these arrangements.
Support IT Operations to ensure that computer security processes and appropriate backup strategies are in place for all Trust corporate systems.
Ensure integrity of IT server systems, application and user data (both clinical and non-clinical) by performing regular backup checks and test restores.
Provide 2nd and 3rd line support and expertise, to Service Desk, IT Desktop, Networks, Implementation and Development and Operations staff to ensure the timely closure of Helpdesk calls.
Provide support to the Implementation and Development team during project rollouts, planned work and moves.

Job summary
We are recruiting for a Medical Secretary who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work within our division.
You will have a sound knowledge of medical terminology and have the ability to work without direct supervision, be able to prioritise and manage workloads, and be the first point of contact and communication for general practitioners, consultant colleagues, nursing staff, administrative and other hospital staff, patients, relatives and outside agencies.
You will provide professional and efficient secretarial and administrative support to the consultants and medical teams.

Main duties of the job
Communicate and liaise (by letter, telephone and in person) in professional and sensitive manner with patients and their relatives.
Receive results following diagnostic tests on patients and ensure that the appropriate medical staff see all such reports and keep a patient tracker. Ensure all urgent results are acted upon promptly and subsequently filed in the patient's notes. Results must not be communicated to patients or relatives without the consultant's agreement.
Retrieve heavy and bulky medical records. To track all patients' notes held in the office area using iFit and to forward these to the appropriate destination as soon as they are no longer required, ensuring information is correctly recorded on iFit.
Co-ordinate outpatient activity. Supervise and provide guidance to clerical support staff to ensure appointments are sent out in a timely and efficient manner in keeping with national targets.
Retrieve heavy and bulky medical records. Maintain medical records systems by filing and keeping an accurate record of the movement of medical records.
Dependant on varying secretarial workloads, all secretaries within the Directorate will help and support colleagues as required, including cover for annual leave and sickness or as directed by the Service Manager or their deputy.

We are recruiting for a Oncology Counsellor who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre provides support and information to patients and carers attending Mount Vernon Cancer Centre for treatments such as chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy.
It is a valuable resource for people affected by cancer and is staffed by oncology trained health professionals, complementary therapists, counsellors, an art therapist and psychologist, and other volunteers with a wide variety of experience. The centre's status is part NHS and part charitable.
The successful candidate will assess patients, plan and implement an appropriate specialist psychological intervention for cancer patients and maintain associated records. You will liaise and provide specialist advice to the wider multi-disciplinary team and provide training to medical and non-medical staff and students, as appropriate.
You will assist the Lead by taking part in research and audit in the specialist area of cancer counselling. Also, you will act in accordance with, and undertake continued professional development, in line with their governing professional body and in house guidelines

Main duties of the job
Use highly specialised therapeutic skills and theoretical frameworks to assess suitability of patients and carers, for psychological interventions.
To autonomously plan and implement a course of counselling (up to six sessions) to meet the individual needs of patients and/or carers.
To plan and organise own caseload.
Able to run therapeutic groups for patients and carers.
To organise and make decisions regarding referrals to other services.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will support the Quality Assurance Team in delivering the Trust's policy and quality governance functions. Support the administration and maintenance of the Trust's ENHance electronic quality management system.

As a Senior Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will

We are inviting applications for a substantive Consultant Urological Surgeon with expertise in robotic upper urinary tract oncology and reconstructive surgery to join MFT Urology, one of the largest urology services in the UK.
This is a strategic appointment within One MFT Urology and an opportunity to join the service at an important point in its development. We are bringing together our teams, expertise and clinical pathways across Manchester to create a modern, high-quality urology service centred around patients rather than individual hospital sites.
The post is full-time (10 PAs). The successful candidate will join an established upper tract and robotic surgical team and will contribute to the delivery and further development of renal and upper urinary tract cancer surgery across MFT.
Applicants should have advanced training and demonstrable experience in robotic renal and upper tract surgery. The post is intended for a surgeon able to contribute to complex renal cancer surgery, including robotic partial and radical nephrectomy. Experience or a developed interest in robotic upper urinary tract reconstruction is particularly welcomed.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide specialist expertise in robotic renal and upper urinary tract surgery within the One MFT Urology service.
The role will include contribution to renal and upper tract cancer multidisciplinary pathways and operative management, with an expectation of collaborative working across MFT and with The Christie where appropriate.
robotic partial and radical nephrectomy and other renal cancer surgery appropriate to the appointee's expertise;
upper urinary tract oncology and complex case selection;
robotic reconstructive upper tract surgery such as pyeloplasty and ureteric reimplantation where appropriately trained;
development and standardisation of enhanced recovery and peri-operative pathways;

Job summary
We are looking for a Band 5 physical health nurse to work within our district nursing teams to cover our 8am-8pm 7 days a week model. The service is undergoing significant developments as part of our plan to deliver integrated community care for patients on a neighbourhood footprint across Knowsley.
Working to the Mersey Care values, you will have excellent empathy, communication skills and a person centred approach. You will be keen to continue learning and develop the competencies needed to give evidence based care to your patients in their own home. Clinical decision making skills and a problem solving approach is an essential component of this role. You will be a good team player who can also work autonomously on your own, escalating and reporting back appropriately.
The service operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year to cover our 8am-8pm 7 days a week model.
You will also have the opportunity to be mentored and full support will be given to develop and enhance your skills.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for the delivery of clinical care to a defined population. Supported by senior practitioners, they will deliver care within the boundaries of their role. They will work effectively and collaboratively within the team to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy and procedures and provide clinical leadership. Ensure the delivery of the quality strategy within the designated area incorporating establishment of systems and processes.

An opportunity has arisen to appoint a full time (10 PA), Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon to join our innovative department at an exciting time in our Trusts future although less than full time applications may be considered The clinical team consists of 4 Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeons, 3 Associate Specialists and 8 Specialist Nurses, which work closely alongside the radiology teams. The Breast service offers a one stop diagnostic breast clinic every week-day based at the Pinderfields site. Theatre capacity for breast surgical intervention is offered at Pinderfields General Hospital and with adoption of new localisation technologies is offered for other Trust sites: Pontefract and Dewsbury. We are a busy service with close to 500 cancers treated annually and above 7000 symptomatic referrals seen. The Breast Team cooperates closely with an experienced Plastic Surgery Team. The 3 Consultant Plastic Surgeons offer DIEP flaps reconstruction

Duties will be based primarily on our Wakefield (Pinderfields) site although may require some cross site travel. The main duties of the posts will include: To provide a clinical service of the highest quality to patients with benign or malignant breast diseases. To provide a high quality breast reconstruction service. To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that we work together as a supportive team. To support the teaching and research activities of the team. To provide leadership and act as a role model to junior members of staff. This post does not include any Emergency on call commitments. Post-operative cover is provided to all breast patients by the team across all sites. Travel between sites may be required, which will be reflected within the job plan. This is a senior clinical post, with four key elements to the role - Specialist level clinical practice, Professional/Clinical leadership, Education, training and development & Practice and service development, research and evaluation.
They will provide expert practice in their field of imaging, including image reporting working closely with the Lead Consultant Radiographer, lead CT Radiologist, Head of Service and CT modality.
They will exercise a high degree of professional and personal autonomy as clinical specialist advanced practitioner, demonstrating advanced clinical competence, complex decision making and a MSc level knowledge base across the four pillars of advanced practice. They will act as a CT subject-matter expert within an agreed scope of practice and governance framework.
The post contributes specialist expertise and service leadership at senior advanced practitioner level (clinical specialist). Accountability for strategic professional leadership, organisation-wide consultancy and consultant-level impact remains with the Lead Consultant Diagnostic Radiographer and relevant medical, operational and professional leads. Progression to consultant practitioner level would require a separately defined role demonstrating sustained impact across pathway, organisational and system boundaries.
Main duties of the job
The CSS will be the point of contact within radiology to support training and service delivery. There will be an expectation to maintain/deliver CT reporting sessions minimum 4 PA's per week 2-4PA's clinical scanning and min 2 PAs of non-clinical time for outcomes to be reviewed, second opinions to be provided and additional imaging to be requested and appointed should it be required.
This role is primarily a very senior radiographer clinical post with specialist skills, knowledge and leadership. This role will undertake operational leadership of specific pathways and clinical management tasks as well as assessing and treating a specialist workload of patients. This role is responsible for managing staff, resources and activity and provides specialist advice as required. This role will be expected to assess, analyse and interpret complex situations including clinical, staff and operational issues. In unpredictable situations this role is responsible for making decisions to ensure continued service provision, in collaboration with the Radiology and CT Operational Leads and Lead Consultant Radiographer.
This role will provide expert advice, tuition, governance of the CT service (in line with national guidelines) and service improvement in the specific specialist field of practice.

We are seeking motivated and reliable Facilities Operatives to join our Facilities team across our Monmouthshire/Blaenau Gwent Sites within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board
This is a varied and essential support role, helping to ensure our hospitals run safely, efficiently and compassionately. You will work flexibly across a range of facilities functions, including domestic cleaning, catering services, and hospital portering, with full training provided.
You will be a key part of a large multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality services to patients, visitors and staff, while upholding the Health Board's values, dignity, and infection prevention standards.
You will be expected to work flexibly across services and cover a 7-day rota, including weekends and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job
Depending on service need, your duties will include some or all of the following:
Domestic Services
Delivering high standards of cleaning across patient and non-patient areas
Working to agreed cleaning schedules and outcome-based standards
Carrying out routine, specialist, discharge and rapid-response cleaning
Safely using cleaning equipment, machinery and approved chemicals
Catering
Prepare basic food items (e.g., sandwiches, salads, beverages)
Pick and pack regeneration food trollies,
Monitor and record all food temperatures
Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and infection control, following policies and procedures
Carry out cleaning duties in kitchens, ward pantries and service areas
Support retail catering services, including till operation and customer service
Maintaining stock levels and safe storage of provisions, equipment and materials
Working closely with clinical teams and Facilities colleagues
Portering
Transporting patients including sensitive transfers
Transportation of goods, specimens, blood products, equipment and linen across hospital sites
Waste management collection and environmental duties, including litter collection
Receipt and disturbing, receiving and distributing goods
Treating patients, visitors and staff with courtesy, dignity and respect

This role is for a Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist to provide medical leadership for the Specialist Dementia and Frailty Service (SDFS) based at St Margaret's Hospital in Epping. The Consultant will provide medical leadership for multidisciplinary team comprising other psychiatrists, CPN's, OT and psychologist.
The Consultant will be expected to work closely with the clinical managers and the wider MDT to provide a safe and effective service. The Consultant will also be expected to work closely with the relevant community teams and contribute to providing an effective care pathway for patients across the service.
The post holder will be the Responsible Clinician (RC) for patients under their care on a community treatment order under the Mental Health Act. The post holder will be expected to carry out the duties expected of an RC knowledgably and in a timely manner. The post holder will be expected to be knowledgeable of the Mental Capacity Act and be proficient at applying it appropriately to patient care.
Main duties of the job
The Consultant Psychiatrist is a key clinical leader for the Team. The post-holder is required to work independently and accountably as part of a team of clinicians offering Mental Health Services. Working collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians, and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering great mental health services. The post holder would be part of the senior management team of the team and be integral in developing and improving the service.

We are currently recruiting Pharmacy Dispenser and welcome applications on a full and part time basis. You will join our rotational team largely in Sunderland Royal Hospital but be able to work across our three Pharmacies across STSFT and support our service level agreement with our partner organisation CHoICE Ltd. Our In-patient pharmacy supplies medicines to wards and departments across our various sites as well as supporting the Integrated Medicine Management team of technicians and pharmacists to deliver pharmaceutical care to patients admitted to the in-patient wards. Good customer service skills are essential as well as the need to care about the patients we serve and the services we deliver and we expect candidates to take pride in the delivery of a safe and responsive dispensing service. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high quality patient care whilst working with an excellent and patient-centred team.
Main duties of the job
Candidates should have achieved NVQ LEVEL 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy services and you would be expected to undertake an accredited checking course after 6 months in post. You will be required to work in both in-patient and out-patient pharmacies across sites and our partner organisation Choice Ltd. As part of the dispensary team you will be involved in the dispensing process for both adult and paediatric patients across attending our hospital.
You would be expected to be part of 7-day service including late night, weekend and bank holiday rotas. You should be adaptable, methodical and have excellent communication and time keeping skills. You must be able to work well within the team and also have the ability to work on your own initiative to deliver excellent patient care. We work in conjunction with the pharmacy education team and we assist with training of new staff which you would be expected to undertake as part of your role.

This role includes responding to queries on doctors' terms and conditions, processing contractual changes, preparing employment documentation and supporting visa and immigration-related enquiries. Main duties of the job
- Respond to employment queries, providing accurate advice
- Process contractual variations, staff changes and leavers accurately and promptly.
- Prepare certificates of employment and other employment documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update the Electronic Staff Record (ESR).
- Assist with visa and immigration-related queries
- Advise managers on operational employment matters and doctors' terms and conditions.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Patient Pathway Co-ordinator to join our team. This key role supports the effective delivery of elective access and theatre services, ensuring patients progress smoothly through their treatment pathways and receive timely care.
The post holder will manage complex Referral to Treatment (RTT) pathways, coordinate theatre capacity, monitor service performance, and work closely with clinical and operational teams across multiple departments and sites. They will play an important role in meeting access targets, resolving pathway issues, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
The successful candidate will supervise and support administrative staff, contribute to training and development, and take part in service improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and patient experience. Working with a high degree of autonomy, they will use strong organisational, analytical, and decision-making skills to manage competing priorities and support the delivery of service objectives. The role also includes deputising for other Band 5 colleagues when required.
